Manchester Day Parade 2019

3rd Davyhulme Scout and Guide Band along with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers took part in this years 10th Manchester Day Parade on Sunday 23rd June 2019.
The theme was ten out of ten and the group made tabards with the ten best scouting badges and Jim Field the GSL made boards with the badges on them. We also had one of our Cubs dressed in his made Scientist outfit with his brother holding the science badge.
The streets were lined with thousands of people and the atmosphere was electric and not with thunder and lightning that did actually hold off as well as the rain. The main picture from the MEN news shows our banner in the background. What a day and well done to everyone that took part and made the event happen.
