Join our adventure

The Scout Association offers fun and everyday adventure to 573,000 young people between the ages of 6 and 25 across the United Kingdom.

We’re Scouts and everyone is welcome here. Every week, we help people aged 6-25 develop skills for life. Are you ready to join the adventure?

The adventure at 3rd Davyhulme

Our aim at 3D is for every young person that attends scouts to become:

  • Self reliance
  • Caring
  • Responsible
  • Commited

They do this by:

  • Taking part in a variety of activities and new experiences
  • Exploring the outdoors
  • Participating in teams
  • Taking responsibility

We do this by giving young people the opportunity to learn by doing, we call this the Programme. The Programme is a continuous progression of training, activities and awards that covers everything that young people do in Scouting from the age of 6 to 25.

Our commitment

At 3D our adults have a responsibility to make sure that the Programme is fun and exciting, while remaining safe. This doesn’t stop us pushing the boundaries, and also encouraging the young people out of their comfort zones in a safe and measured way.

Who can be a Scout?

Scouting is open to all young people aged 6 to 25 of every faith and background. There are also plenty of opportunities for adults to become involved as Leaders, Assistants or Administrators.
