On the 19th March 2017 the Band were awarded a ‘National Event Consideration’ which is the highest award a band can achieve within Scouting.
This is the old ‘A Grade’ award. The award was presented to them at their Annual Band Inspection Concert. Great music and fun was had by all. Congratulations also to our Junior Band who were deemed by the County Band Advisor GMN , to be able to perform in their own right as the old ‘C’ Grade.
