Volunteering for Scouting is one of the most fun, rewarding and positive things you can ever do. Without our adult volunteers the adventure would never begin.

From parent helpers making sure we have the right number of adults for trips outside the HQ, through to Team Leaders and Team Members making sure our activities are fun, engaging and safe to all of our administrative roles making sure we have the funds and training to deliver the programme each adult volunteer is vital to helping to develop young people through informal educational.

By choosing Scouting, you will make a real difference to the lives of young people and have a huge impact within our community. You will have the opportunity to try plenty of new things and develop your own skills.

Volunteering opportunities are flexible

When someone talks to us about volunteering, we find a role that fits with their time and skills. If that means an hour a month, then we’ll work out how we can make the most of that.
